Mickey’s Weekly Recommendation: ‘Grimm’

Happy Thursday!

This week’s recommendation is…

‘Grimm’!

You know, ‘Grimm’ has been going on for six years now. It’s not the perfect show when it comes to plot, characters, and even acting, but it holds such strong sentimental value to me. This is the first (and I think only?) show that I’ve started since episode one and haven’t gotten sick of. I have been following the story for six years now. Every Saturday morning I would wake up, go to the kitchen, get myself a bunch of pancakes, and start of my weekend with the latest episode of ‘Grimm’. The show is really important to me. It has become a weekly routine of mine, watching ‘Grimm’ every Saturday morning, and I can’t believe that in two weeks I’m never gonna do that again… Other than the sentimental value it holds to me, why am I recommending ‘Grimm’? Firstly, it’s got a very original concept and it will probably suit very different audiences. It’s a crime show, but with a fantasy elements, so I’m guessing it should be interesting to a lot of people (not only because it’s both crime and fantasy, but because the simple idea of combining those two genres is original and fascinating). Other than that, it gets better every season. ‘Grimm’ was never an amazing show to begin with, but it doesn’t get worse after the third season, for example, (like many shows do), quite the opposite, I think I like each new season more than the previous one. And also, it’s just a chill and entertaining show, something to just relax to while eating your dinner (or in my case, breakfast). So, if you are looking for a very original and entertaining new TV show to watch, I highly recommend ‘Grimm’!

I still haven’t quite finished the first season of this. I watch it when I visit a friend of mine (but I only do that for a couple of days every six months or so). Still, we keep plugging away at it because we both enjoy it quite a lot. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
