Sorry I’m a bit late with this post. (And LOL, if you think I was out celebrating Valentine’s Day, you are so wrong). I was wondering all day what to post today and then it struck me: today is Valentine’s Day! A lot of couples stay in today and usually watch a movie. So I thought, why don’t I share some of my best picks for what to watch with a (potential) loved one on Valentine’s? Without further a due, here are some options!
A note first! ‘Love Actually’ is not on my list because I feel like it’s a bit too Christmas related. However, if you don’t mind having the Christmas spirit in February, you can should so watch it! And now…
№1: ‘Crazy, Stupid, Love.’
‘Crazy, Stupid, Love.’ is my favorite romantic movie of all time. It’s the only romantic movie I truly like, really. It’s flawless, to me at least. I laugh, I feel the drama, and I feel the romantic spirit.
Why should you watch it on Valentine’s Day? Well, it’s the perfect romantic comedy for today. It’s nothing too original, but it definitely gets you in the mood for the holiday. If you are feeling cheesy and romantic, go watch ‘Crazy, Stupid, Love.’!
By the way, you can check out my recommendation for this movie here.
№2: ‘Roman Holiday’
An endless classic. ‘Roman Holiday’ is one of the greatest romantic movies of all time. Plus, it’s a revelation in filmmaking and everyone should watch it, even if it’s not today. It’s beautiful, it’s cheesy, and it’s romantic.
Why should you watch it on Valentine’s Day? Well, not only does it contain all the qualities mentioned above, it’s also a classic. So, by suggesting to watch this film to your special someone, you might come of as sophisticated and smart. The perfect way to score some points and get in the (wink) romantic mood…
Even though it’s Valentine’s Day, some people might not feel like watching a generic cheesy romantic comedy. ‘Deadpool’ is the perfect option for those of you who feel like seeing something truly awesome that does have a romantic element.
Why should you watch it on Valentine’s Day? It’s different, but it still gets you in the mood for today. I mean, the whole marketing campaign for ‘Deadpool’ was based on the fact that it comes out in theaters on Valentine’s Day, but it’s something for those who don’t like romantic cheesy comedies. Plus, suggesting this film makes you look fun and original. 😉
By the way, you can check out my ‘Deadpool’ review here.
And there you have it! These are just some of the suggestions I have for what you should watch today. What did you think of this list? Do you know of any other films you think people should see on Valentine’s Day? Share your thoughts in the comments section below! Don’t forget to like and share this article if you enjoyed it!
I hope you all have a wonderful Valentine’s Day filled with love and warmth!… and maybe some kinky stuff ;).
