Oscars 2019: Regina King Wins Best Supporting Actress (Speech Recap)

Regina King wins the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress at the 91st Academy Awards for her role as Sharon Rivers in If Beale Street Could Talk.

In her speech, she first mentioned ‘one of the best artists of all time – James Baldwin’. Regina King first thanked her mom for the support and love and for showing her that God has always been leaning to her. She then thanked the cast and her co-nominees. King finished her speech by saying: ‘God is good… all the time.’
